Mary Hoyle

Waynesville-Mary Patsy Hoyle, age 78, formerly of 305 Little Mountain Road, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Mountain Trace Nursing Home in Sylva. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Hobert Lee and Nonnie V. Harris Sheehan. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Hoyle, who died in 1994. She was an office manager for Coats & Clark of Newport News, Virginia before her retirement. She was a member of Copeland Park Baptist Church of Hampton, Virginia. She is survived by a brother, Robert "Bud" Sheehan, of Waynesville; a sister, Susie West, of Gibalter, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on July 1, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz officiating. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Virginia at a later date. The family will receive friends following the services.
