Mary Inman

November 14, 1948 — September 24, 2017

Mary Lu Phillips Inman, 68, of Candler, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2017. She was born in Conneaut, Ohio to the late Harland Paul and Sadie Pearl McConnaughey Phillips. Before moving to Candler, she and Wesley lived in Fruitland Park, FL for over 30 years. Mary had a true servant's heart and always wanted to help others. She retired from Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM) but continued to volunteer at the Veterans Restoration Quarters and Food Ministry. She was a member of Blue Ridge Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric Inman.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Inman; sons Marty and Jason Inman; and grandchildren, Johnathan and Faith; brother, Paul Harland Phillips; and 3 half-sisters, Lynette, Roseann, and Donna.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 29th in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ABCCM, 20 Twentieth Street, Asheville, NC 28806.
