Mary Johnson

Mary Virginia Johnson, 93, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Asheville Health Care Center. She was a daughter of the late Mary Workman and James Towner. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Clarence Johnson in 2009.

Mary and William moved from Sarasota, FL to the mountains to enjoy their retirement years. She was passionate about reading and writing poetry and enjoyed working in her flower gardens.

Survivors include her three children, Barbara Sauls of Hendersonville, Virginia and Jimmy Caldwell, and her extended family, Jimmy and Teena DuBose and their family.

Graveside services will be held 11AM on Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
