Mary Jones

Waynesville-Mary Alice Blalock Jones, age 90, formerly of Grimball Drive, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ona McClure Blalock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Jones, who died in 1993 and one brother, T.E. Blalock. She was a member of Hazelwood Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Jones Cathey of Ooltewah, Tennessee, son-in-law, Sam Cathey, and granddaughter, Lorna Cathey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007 at Hazelwood Baptist Church with Reverend Don Letzring officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
