Mary King

Mary Louise Taylor King, age 88, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at John F. Keever Solace Center. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sallie Wooten Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Taylor. Mary was employed at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals for 16 ½ years and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mack J. King; and one sister, Ruth Hall of Candler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Odum, Reverend Betty Drake, and Reverend Millard Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
