Mary Mcdaniel

ELIZABETH S. MCDANIEL Waynesville-Mary Elizabeth Sutton McDaniel, age 92, passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and life long resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Spawn and Hessie Bradshaw Sutton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack McDaniel, who died in 1958; four sisters Lula Mae Carver, Grace Sutton, Pearl Owens and Mary Norris; four brothers, Jack, Charlie, Fred and Jess Sutton. Mrs. McDaniel was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesville and was employed by Dayco Corporation until her retirement. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ruby Frazier and Pat Swanger and her husband Jack all of Waynesville; one sister Annie Roe Williamson of New Jersey; three grandchildren; Jackie Brown, Lucinda Ledford; and Charles Swanger; and four great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 in the Chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with Reverend Dr. Robert Prince officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 prior to the service, and at other times the family will be at the residence of Pat Swanger.
