Mary M. Miller
Canton-Mary Morris Miller-79, of the Dutch Cove Community, died Friday, December 13, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was a native of Haywood County and was the daughter of the late Roy N. and Bessie Jenkins Morris. Mrs. Miller was the wife of the late Gerald E. Miller who died in 1995 and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Canton First United Methodist Church. She sang with the Canton First United Methodist Church Happy Hearts.

She is survived by two sons, Ricky Miller and his wife Patricia of Garner, NC and Danny Miller and his wife Dawn of Candler, one brother, Bill Morris of Canton, 5 grandchildren, Stephanie and Kevin Miller of Garner, NC, Danika Miller of Candler and Chad and Chase Conner of Candler.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2002 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Lynda T. Briggs officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
