Mary Sanchez

Waynesville, Mary Suzanne Cullen Sanchez, age 59, of 91 Joe Mooney Road, died on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Cheyenne, WY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Prather Cullen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Knox Cullen, Jr. and Robert Cullen. She received her Master's Degree from Boston University and taught school at Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She loved spending time with her son and friends and also enjoyed music and literature. She attended Fines Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jose' O. Sanchez of Asheville, one son, Christopher John Cullen of Waynesville, a niece, nephews, and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Fines Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
