Mary Sue Christopher Messer

Mary Sue Christopher Messer, 66, a devoted homemaker known for her unwavering love for family, passed away on June 20, 2024. She was born on February 12, 1958, to the late James and Alice Moore Christopher. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Messer who passed away in 2004, a sister Becky Climbingbear, brothers Robert Christopher, Jimmy Christopher and William Conard.

Mary's life was defined by her deep affection for her family. She found immense joy in caring for her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

Left to cherish Mary Sue's memories are her daughter Cindy Messer Ewart (Mitchell), son Timothy Messer (Amber), sister Judy Mills (Charlie), brothers Richard Conard (Peggy), and Samuel Christopher. Her legacy lives on through nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well.

Services to honor and celebrate Mary Sue's life will be held at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville. A visitation will take place on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. The burial will then proceed at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesville starting at 3:00 PM.

Mary Sue Christopher Messer will forever be remembered for the love she shared, the care she provided, and the memories she created with her beloved family. May she rest in eternal peace.
