Mary Trull

Canton- Mary Ann "Juanita" Dixon Trull - age 81 of 13450 Cruso Road died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Madison County but had lived in Haywood County for the past 55 years. She was a daughter of the late H.M. and Bessie Hicks Dixon and the wife of the late Elbert Trull who died in 1991. Juanita was preceded in death by four brothers, H.M., Jr., Troy, Walter and Clinton Dixon and two grandchildren, Stephen Rogers and Neil Blaylock. She was formerly employed by Dayco Corporation and American Enka. Juanita loved to spend time in her garden and cooking. She was also a charter member of Cruso United Methodist Church. She is survived by six daughters, Vera Stewart of Garden City, SC, Jackie Henson and her husband Donald, Margaret Ramsey and her husband Ronnie all of Waynesville, Sue Rogers of Leicester, Barbara Trull of Canton and Deborah Trull of the home; three sisters, Sue Foster, Ethel Brooks and Laura Russell all of Canton; one brother, Jack Dixon of Canton; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Brad Holliman and Reverend Gary Putnam officiating. Burial will follow in New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice, Home Health Bldg., 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
