Mattie Bolden

Mattie Lou Justice Bolden Clyde – Mattie Lou Justice Bolden, age 74, of Justice Drive, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at her home. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Robert and Nancy Ruth Rhodarmer Justice. Mattie was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Haywood County Hospital. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Ray Floyd Bolden; one son, Douglas Eugene McDonald of Clyde; two daughters, Shirley Ruth Stanley of Clyde and Phoebe Jane Taylor of Maiden, NC; one brother, Oscar Eugene Justice of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Daryl Hannah and Reverend Carrol Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rick and Adam Smith, Darrell Stanley, Denver Hannah, Andy Justice and Dan Warren. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, 1410 Poison Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
