Maude Mcfalls

Maude Rogers McFalls, age 97, formerly of the Stamey Cove Community died Friday, May 20, 2005 at the Brian Center of Waynesville. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late James Baxter and Samantha Shipman Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred McFalls who died in 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of Longs United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, James A. McFalls, Jr., and his wife, Betty of Waynesville, Robert McFalls and his wife, Marlyn of Canton and Joe McFalls of Leicester; a sister, Grace Shepherd of Canton; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Brad Holliman and Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the services at the funeral home.
