Maxie Teague

Clyde, Maxie Clark Teague, age 86, of 29 Oak Park Drive died Saturday, October 26, 2002 at her daughter's residence.

She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Thomas Albert and Zora Crawford Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Guy Teague who died in 1990 and a brother, Thomas Albert Clark, Jr.

She was a homemaker and a member of Canton First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Dotty Lively and her husband, Charles of Maggie Valley and Margaret Paxton and her husband, Richard of Canton; a brother, Walter Clark of Canton; four grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Teresa Hartz, Laura Rollins and Cindy Tyndall as well as two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27th at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Rick Gosnell officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
