Merry Meeks

Asheville, Merry Ellen Meeks, 55, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at her home.

A native of Orange county, Florida, Merry is the daughter of Charles Nathaniel Meeks and Helen Eager Salzer.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katarina Ridge.  Merry was a dependable source of positivity.  Merry loved her close friends, along with her family, they were the light of her life.  As a gift, Merry would make apple butter from scratch and hand-made crafts for those close to her.  She enjoyed the many beloved cats that came into her life over the years.

Surviving Merry is her mother, Helen E. Salzer and step-father, Robert "Bob" Salzer, of Florida; her best-friend and sister, Wendy Ruff, and her husband, Tony, of Waynesville; and her aunty Betty Ann Piner, of Senoia, Georgia.

A celebration of Merry's life will be held on a later date.
