Michael Kelly

Clyde, Michael Dennis Kelly, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Brian Center of Waynesville. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late John J. Sr., and Margaret Harbin Kelly. He retired from Dayco Corporation. Michael was an antique collector and enjoyed going to flea markets. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ledford Kelly; a stepdaughter, Dalene Powell of Asheville; a sister, Lynette Kelly Ames of Dallas, Texas; a brother, John J. Kelly, Jr. of Fairview, NC; and a grandson, Tate Powell. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Stacy Woods officiating. Entombment will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
