Michelle Haddad

Waynesville, Michelle Salo Haddad, age 38, passed away on March 28, 2013 at her residence. Born in Michigan, she had resided in Haywood County for the past ten years. She was the daughter of Don Salo and Sharon Berner and her step-father, Jim. She co-owned and managed Polaris of Waynesville with her husband, Jesse. An accomplished trumpet player, she played in several bands from big-band jazz to concert ensembles. Michelle loved the outdoors, her pets, and was of the Lutheran Faith. In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her husband, Jesse Haddad; stepson, Montana Haddad; sister, Jennifer Marshall (Jon); brother, Jaysen Salo; stepbrother, Jay Berner; sister-in-law, Maria Chemaly (Adel) and a brother-in-law, Adel Haddad (Raghida) A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Shannon Kershner officiating.
