Mildred Wyatt Burrell

Mildred Wyatt Burrell, born on February 1, 1940, in Swain County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025, at Autumn Care of Waynesville. She was a beloved figure whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many throughout her years.

Mildred was predeceased by her father, Thomas Wiley Wyatt, her mother, Alice Ruth Dehart, and her husband, Don Wayne Burrell. Their memories, along with the values they instilled in her, shaped the compassionate person that Mildred became.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends who cherished her presence and will remember her fondly. Mildred's legacy continues through the lives she influenced and the love she shared. Her unwavering support for her family and friends was an embodiment of her character, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. As we remember Mildred, we celebrate a life dedicated to fostering relationships and offering comfort to those around her.

Per Ms. Burrell's wishes there was a private family service that was held in her honor.
