Mildred Gibson

Canton-Mildred Christopher Gibson-76 of Ridge Street, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at Canton Christian Convalescence Center.

She was a native of Haywood County and was a daughter of the late Broadway and Madge Christopher and the wife of the late Bobby Gibson who died in 1968. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Rose Bramlett and her husband Tom of Clyde, two sons, J. B. Gibson of Waynesville, Devane Gibson of Canton, two sisters, Willie Mae Mills of Canton, Georgia Reed of Sapphire, NC and one grandson, Brian Bramlett.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Virgil Holloway officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday prior to the services at the funeral home.
