Mildred Norman

Waynesville-Mildred Elizabeth Muse Norman, age 75, of 1140 Allens Creek Road, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Vance and Muriel Parris Muse. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn "Doc" Norman, who died in 1995; three brothers, Kenneth, Gordon, and Richard Muse; and a great grandson, Patrick Crumpler. She was a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Muriel Caldwell, and her husband, Dale; a son, Jimmy Wayne Norman and his fiancé, Celia Potter; a sister, Lillian Muse Henline; two brothers, Carroll Muse and his wife, Penny, and Lewis Muse and his wife, Mary Alice, all of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Duane Norman and his wife, Amy, of Waynesville, and Christi Crumpler and her husband, Neal, of Clyde; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Norman of Waynesville, and Allyson Crumpler of Clyde. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Harold, Vance, David, Shane, and Victor Muse, Rusty Rector, and Dean Henline.
