Mildred Sease

Waynesville, Mildred Arrington Sease, age 89, of Ivy Hill Drive, died on Monday, March 16, 2009 at Smoky Mountain Health Care. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Lucy Brooks Arrington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Howard Sease, Jr., who died in 2002 and two sisters, Bessie Miller and Blanche Anders. She was a former employee of American Enka and a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesville. She is survived by two daughters, Becky Owen and her husband, Jim, of Charlotte, NC and Emily Watts and her husband, David, of Garner, NC; two sons, Mike Sease and his wife, Linda, of Asheville and Bill Sease and his wife, Marylee, of Waynesville; one sister, Susie Beck, of Waynesville; one brother, Oliver Arrington, of Burkeville, VA; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Waynesville with Reverend Dr. Robert Prince, Reverend Dr. Jack Bishop, and Reverend Dr. Dick Maples officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Waynesville, P.O.
