Nancy Evans

Hillsborough, FL., Nancy Hodges Evans, age 93, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. A native of Madison County, New York, she was the daughter of the late John Warner and Nellie Tupper Hodges. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Burton Charles Evans, who died in 1993 and a brother, John W. Hodges, II. Nancy's heart belonged to her family and she will forever be remembered as an accomplished quilter, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Butler and her husband, Paul, of Gibsonton, Florida; a son, Chuck Evans and his wife, Christine, of Kannapolis, North Carolina; a nephew, Chip Hodges and his wife, Jennifer, of Oneida, New York; a niece, Linda Hodges of New York; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
