Nancy Gaddy

Canton-Nancy West Gaddy, age 54 of 1 Terrace Drive died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County.

She was a daughter of the late Varder and Beatrice Wines West and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years Roger W. Gaddy; one daughter Tracy Mann of Canton; one son, Charlie Gaddy of Canton; two brothers, Jimmy and David West of Canton; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend T. M. Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Thickety Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, 1410 Poison Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her daughter, Tracy Mann, 41 Ballew St., Canton.
