Nancy Harris

Nancy Buckner Harris, 91, of Asheville, passed away, Monday, May 4, 2015. A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Lodusky Rice Buckner. Nancy was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church. While living in Assisted Living the past few years, she enjoyed crafts, bingo and the fellowship of her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Harris in 1989; 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Bernice Downen; son, James Larry Harris; sister, Ada Barham; grandchildren, John Wilson, Jenny Jodoin and Kisha Morrison and great grandchildren, Taylor Stamey and Mikayla Jodoin.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 6 in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Danny Gasperson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday, May 5th in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler.
