Nancy Fisher Turner, age 75, formerly of Trammell Avenue, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 2, 2013 at The Oaks of Sweeten Creek. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Erma Lee Roberts Fisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clarence Turner, who died in 1995 and a brother, Wendell Fisher. Nancy was employed at Belk in the Asheville Mall for 14 years and a former employee of K-Mart on Hendersonville Highway in Asheville. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Fairview. She is survived by two sons, Charles David Turner and his wife, Debra, of Leicester, and Robert Daniel Turner of Fletcher; a sister, Martha Fisher of Canton; a brother, Donald Fisher and his wife, Joan, of Enka; a sister-in-law, Pat Fisher; a granddaughter, Brooke Jennings; a grandson, Craig Jennings; and three great-grandchildren, Carson Goins, Jonathan and Tori Jennings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2013 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Stacy Harris and Reverend Larry Collins officiating. Entombment will follow at The Horizon at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
