Nancy Yarborough

Waynesville, Nancy Ann Yarborough, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Laura Belle Paris Yarborough and the late Robert Theodore Yarborough. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne E. Yarborough. She was an active member of Waynesville Free Methodist Church and had also served in several positions at the church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Wesley Herron and his wife, Ana Hummel, of Huntersville, North Carolina and two brothers, Willard Yarborough and his wife, Elaine, of Kings Mountain, North Carolina and John Yarborough and his wife, Effie, of Waynesville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Waynesville Free Methodist Church with Pastor Ronnie Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
