Nettie Wykle

Nettie Davenport Wykle, 87, of Asheville, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was born in Clay County to the late Harvie and Addie Scroggs Davenport. Nettie worked for Ice Service in Asheville for many years. She loved working in her flower garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Wykle; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Nettie is survived by her son, James Wykle; daughter, Helen Banks; grandchildren, James and Kimberly; brother, Robert Davenport and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 22 in the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Terry Duckworth officiating. The family will receive friends in the Chapel for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
