Waynesville-Nina Norman Finney, 79, of 662 South Haywood Street, passed away on February 25, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, daughter of the late Derry and Jessie Kuykendall Norman. She was also preceded in death by her husband J.W. Finney "Buck" in 1996; her first husband, Bonner F. Rabb in 1990; one son, Steven L. Rabb in 1991; one stepson, Jackie W. Finney in 2002; two brothers, Edgar Norman in 2006 and Glenn Norman in 2000. She retired from Dayco of 39 ½ years, had been active in the Southern Appalachian Cloggers, and was a member of the Rocky Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Linda R. Sutton, of Waynesville, Deborah K. Rabb, of Waynesville, Betty Jones, and her husband, Johnny, of Balsam, Barbara McMullan, and her Husband, Dave, of Riverside, CA; three sons, David F. Rabb, of Marietta, GA, J.W. Finney, and his wife, Shirley, of Clyde, Tony Finney, of Hudson, NC, sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, as well a other Relatives and Friends. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2006 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Phillip Wyatt officiating. Family will receive friends fro 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the America Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716.
