Nina Willis

"1923 – 2016" Canton – Nina Jean Stiles Willis, 93, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her residence. A native of Monroe County, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Wilburn Jessie and Kittie Mae Hembree Stiles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy H. Willis, who died in 1994; two brothers; and eight sisters. Jean was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Jean loved to bake pies and butterscotch pies were her specialty. She also loved to work in her flower garden. Her children were very blessed and thankful for the happy home that she provided for them. She especially loved all of her grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Michael Willis and wife, Ruth, of Canton; one daughter, Marcia Conner and husband, Ben, of Clyde; four grandchildren, John Willis, Carol Underwood, Shelly Luikh, and Joy Willis; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeff King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
