Noah Mitchell Parris, 88, of Marshall, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was born in Polk County, SC to the late Callin and Vennie Steadman Parris. Noah served in the US Navy during World War II and Korea and was a member of VFW Post 891. He loved fox hunting and his foxhounds.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Loran W. and M. Neil Parris.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dover Parris; son, Loren (Judy) Mitchell Parris and John (Karen) Parris; daughter, Carol "Sis" (Scott) Ebert; brother, Norman A. Parris; sister-in-law, Irene C. Parris; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 31st in the Chapel of Faith of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial with Military Honors will follow the chapel service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
