Norma Winsell

Waynesville-Norma Mae Redden Winsell, age 84, formerly of Waynesville, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at WNC Baptist Home. A native of Rush County, Indiana, she lived in Haywood County from 1960 - - 1993 and then moved to the WNC Baptist Home in Asheville. She was the daughter of the late Lott G. and Lorena Elder Coons Redden. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Allene Redden; a granddaughter; and a great granddaughter. She was a retired secretary and a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Carl Winsell, of Waynesville and Charles Winsell of Waynesville and Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday prior to the services.
