Norman Annich

Air Force Veteran Waynesville, Norman Braun Annich, age 84, of Downey Drive, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native of Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, he was a prior resident of Pompano Beach, Florida and had resided in Haywood County for the past eight years. He was the son of the late Norman and Clara Kokenda Annich and was also preceded in death by one sister, Norma Gay Dale. Norman served as a sergeant in the US Air Force and worked as an aviation engineer. He was a charter member of Zion Lutheran Church of Deerfield Beach, Florida. He is survived by a sister, Nancy (Paul) Downey, of Waynesville; one niece, Lisa Ann (Leo) Carraro; five nephews, Todd Downey, David Dale, Gary (Ann) Dale, Stephen (Margaret) Dale, and Brian Dale; grand nieces, Katie Downey and Erin, Cynthia, Allison, Cici, and Haley Dale; and grand nephews, Timothy and Casey Dale. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Roseman officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Central Cemetery in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
