Norman Smith

Norman Leon Smith, 66, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, October 04, 2015. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late George William and Mary Jane Matteson Smith. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1705 in Marion.
Norman is survived by his wife, Caroll Louise Barrier Smith; son, Steven Leon Smith (LeeAnn); daughters, Cotina Louise Smith (Ray) and Natisha Lorraine Hall (Gary); brother, Thomas Dean Smith (Donna); sisters, Mary Etta Smith and Lynell Catherine Dodge(Denny) ; grandchildren, Dylan, Dakota, Donaven, Dalton, Anna and Gaige and special friends of the Asheville and Marion Moose Family Centers.
The family wishes to thank the staff at McDowell Hospital and the Keever Solace Center for their help and kindness.
The family will receive friends at a special Drop-In on Sunday, October 11th from 2-4PM at Marion Moose Family Center Campground, B34 Horseshoe Lane, Marion, NC.
