Norris Kuykendall

Canton-Norris Clark Kuykendall, age 18, of Coffee Branch Road, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007. He was a native of Haywood County and a member of Faith Community Church. Norris was a sweetheart to all and had a loving smile. He enjoyed spending time outdoors bear hunting with his father and little brother, Cole. Norris had a special place in his heart for his family and his church. He is survived by his mother, Jan Singleton and her husband, Tim, of Lake Junaluska; his father, David Kuykendall and his wife, Kelle, of Canton; two brothers, Cole Kuykendall, of Canton, and Jackson Sharp of Waynesville; two step brothers, Noah Singleton, and Carson Mease both of Canton; a step sister, Lauren Mease of Canton; paternal grandparents, Joel and Carolyn Kuykendall of Canton; maternal grandparents, Bill and Janie Davis of Fletcher; two uncles, Mike Mills and his wife, Mandy, and Bryan Kuykendall and his wife, Stephanie, all of Canton; two aunts Cindy Kuykendall Bruce, and her husband, Bryant, and Vickie Smith and her friend, Johnny Ray, all of Canton; and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Matthew Pruett, Reverend Matthew Carver, Reverend Bruce Cayton and Reverend Stacy Woods. Burial will follow in the New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Community Church, P.O.
