Olin Hensley

Olin Hensely, 89, of Asheville, passed away at home on Friday, August 24th, 2012. A native of Barnardsville, NC, he was a son of the late Zeb and Ollie McKinney Hensley. Olin served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had retired from Concrete Products.
In addition to his parents, Olin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Loraine Hug Hensley in 2008.
Olin is survived by his sons, Larry Hensley and wife Florence of Keokuk, Iowa, Gene Hensley and wife Claudia and Richard Hensley, both of Asheville; daughters, Barbara McElreath and Wanda Warren and husband Melvin, all of Asheville; sister, Gladys Shelton; brother, Clarence Hensley; six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 27th at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler.
