Oma Lowe

Canton – Oma Faye Grant Lowe, age 75, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. Oma was born in Webster, NC, lived most of her life in Haywood County, and was the daughter of the late Burt and Stella Womack Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nathan Lowe, two brothers, and one sister. Oma's family was everything to her. She devoted her life to making sure her family was well taken care of and leaves a legacy of love to all who cherish her memory. She is survived by one son, Eddie Lowe and his wife, Sherry of Bethel; two daughters, Patricia Clark and her husband, Reverend Jackie Clark, of Candler, and Sheila McCarson and her husband, David, of Bethel; seven grandchildren, Samantha Godfrey, Susan Freck, Jackie Bradley, Crystal Gaffey, Andy Cowan, Jessica Boone, and Shelley Trantham; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Roger and Ruth Pressley. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Coxie and Reverend Jackie Clark officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery.
