Ora Bryson

Canton - Ora Jane Jones Bryson, age 65, of 28 Watts Street died Friday, September 9, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Rosevelt and Dolly Whitted Jones. She was preceded in death by a son, Darryl Vernon Bryson. She was a loving and caring mother who stood by her family until the end. In addition to her loving husband of 49 years, Lester Bryson, she is survived by three sons, Lester Daniel Bryson and Kathy of Canton, David Lewis Bryson and his wife, Janet of Newbern and Doyce Lee Bryson and his wife, Linda of Canton; a sister, Shirley Gillette of Canton; a brother, Arnold Jones of Canton and five grandchildren, David Lewis Bryson, Jr., Jessica Dawn Bryson, Phillip Lester Bryson, Cheyenne Rose Bryson and Jon David Bryson. Pallbearers will be Roger Warlick, Marty Putnam, Barry Treadway, Lee Brow, Eddie Payne and Kenneth Bruner. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
