Ora Wooten

Ora Mae Bond Wooten, 85, of Asheville, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2016. She was born in Elberton, Georgia to the late James Thomas and Etta Mae Nelms Bond. Ora owned and operated Wooten's Nursery School in North Asheville and loved all of "her kids" dearly. The best times were spent traveling with her family and doing outdoors activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard L. Wooten and brother, JT Bond.
She was a wonderful mother to her children, Teresa (Ronnie) Ingle of Asheville, Beverly Wooten of Mooresville and Patricia (Sergio Martinez)Moore of Asheville; grandson, Richard Lee Moore of Asheville who was the apple of her eye; sister, Mary O. Vehorn of Asheville and sister-in-law, Evelyn Bond of Asheville.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Ron Brown officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. At other thimes they will be at the home of Ronnie and Teresa Ingle 48 Marlowe Drive, Asheville 28801. Burial will be private.
