Page Dennis Pittman, 46, of Candler, passed away Thursday, April 25th. He was born in Colorado Springs, to Dennis George and Vaudie Robinson Pittman. Page served in the U.S. Air Force, was a delivery driver for Airborne Express for 17 years and was the custodian at Hominy Baptist Church for the past 7 years.
Page was gifted with a wonderful sense of humor and also in the art of technology. An extremely talented bass player, he was a member of the praise team at Hominy Baptist Church and Southern Forever for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis George Pittman and grandfather, Harold G. Pittman.
He is survived by his mother, Vaudie Robinson Pittman Dunning; grandmother, Betty Parris Pittman; sister, Kody Pittman Joyner and husband Robert; niece, Anna Joyner; nephew Robbie Lee Pittman wife Terra; great-nieces, Brooklyn and Makenzie Pittman and uncles, David, Kelly, Doug and Scotty Pittman.
His family is at peace, knowing that Page had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at Hominy Baptist Church, 135 Candler School Road, Candler beginning at 10:00AM, followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 30th with Dr. Joseph Yelton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation should be made to the church to help with expenses.
