Pamela (Freier) Ecker

Pam Ecker passed away peacefully at her home in Candler, North Carolina with her loving husband Bob at her side on Friday November 22, 2024.

Pam was born September 23, 1959, to her parents Richard & Georgiana (Niemiec) Freier. Pam met the love of her life Bob Ecker in 1999, and they married on February 1st, 2006. Pam loved living in the mountains and visiting the ocean, both where she found a deep connection to God. She had many hobbies working in her flowers & plants, watching her hummingbirds, puzzles, shopping, cooking, sewing, music, baking & sharing with others, and hanging out in the pool. She loved her football, her favorite teams were Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and Michigan Wolverines. Pam had the most beautiful smile, and it always warms your heart. She loved her family, and they meant the world to her. She was predeceased by her Dad Richard Freier Sr. (2007) and her father-in-law, Henry Ecker (2019).

Surviving her are her husband Bob Ecker, mother Georgiana Freier, son Steve Kraych, daughter-in law Milissa Kraych, grandson Steve, granddaughters Zabrina & Savanna Kraych. Her sister Barb & Ray Bovier, brother Richard Freier Jr., nephew Don Bovier, mother-in law Linda Martin and special friends Pat & Carol McEvoy. A cremation has taken place per Pam’s request and no service will be held.

Pam has passed but will forever remain in our hearts and memories.

The care of Mrs. Ecker has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
