"Loving Mother"

Waynesville, Pamela Jean McCracken, age 59, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Way McCracken and Dorothy Kingsmore McCracken. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael P. Meushaw.

Pam is survived by two daughters, Tanya Haskett (Shannon), of Waynesville and Roxanne Holcombe (Michael), of Clyde; one sister, Debraida Anselmi (Michael), of Baltimore, Maryland; loving companion and partner in life, Michael J. Meushaw; four grandchildren: Jacob Haskett; Hunter, Michael and Nicole Holcombe; and one niece, Crystal Whitman of Baltimore, Maryland.

A truly unique, wild, and remarkable woman sometimes described as hardy and tough who could be obstinate and mountain to her core. She was known as Mamaw Pam to her grandchildren. Her daughters describe her as the strongest woman they ever knew and yet with such a big heart that she knew no stranger. Her heart was so tender and perhaps too soft for the disappointments and pain she had to endure. Due to her strong faith, she believed she would see her son again. She will deeply be missed by all.

Honoring Pam's wishes, there are no services. She would like you to remember her smiling face.
