Parthynia Pressley

Parthynia Gibson Pressley, age 85, formerly of Max Thompson Road died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Brian Center in Waynesville. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Monty Raymond and Bessie Luther Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle B. Pressley who died in 1975. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Martha Ann Bradley and her husband, Carl of Fairfax, VA; two sons, James Roy Pressley and his wife, Carol of Albuquerque, NM and David Lee Pressley and his wife, Geneva of Leavenwood, KS; a brother Raymond Gibson, Fredricksburg, VA; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Todd West and Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Bradley, Craig Bradley, David Michael Pressley, Matthew Helm, Anthony West and Ronnie West. At other times, the family will be at the home, 274 Max Thompson Road, Canton.
