Patricia Myers

Waynesville, Patricia Ann Stiles Myers, age 62, of 3565 Dellwood Road, died on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late James Rufus and Frances McMahan Stiles. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Jack, and Harold Stiles. She was a former employee of the Haywood County School System where she worked in the cafeteria at Jonathan Valley Elementary School and was also a former part-time employee of Maggie Valley United Methodist Church Preschool. She was a member of Maggie Valley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dan Myers; one son, Steven Myers and his wife, Tricia, of Waynesville; one daughter, Kim Pilat and her husband, Chris; six brothers, Jimmy Stiles, David Stiles, Rick Stiles and his wife, Julie, Doug Stiles and his wife, Barbara, Donald Stiles and his wife, Carol, and Wayne Stiles and his wife, Shirley; and five grandchildren, Justin and Lauren Pilat, and Kelsey, Kendall, and Colby Myers, all of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2008 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Rogers and Reverend Richard Buff officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville and at other times, at the home of Steven Myers, 18 Animal Trail, Waynesville.
