Patricia Summey

Patricia Ann Briggs Summey Candler - Patricia Ann Briggs Summey, age 59, of 8 Rising Sun Road, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at John F. Keever Solace. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of Celia King and Frank Ben Briggs. She was the co-owner and operator of Bent Creek Tire. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Roger Summey Sr.; two sons, Roger Jr. and Anthony D. Summey, both of Asheville; one sister, Lynda Searsey of Fletcher; and one granddaughter, Jasmine Ann Singleton of Waynesville. Services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, March 31, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Ted Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service at the funeral home.
