Patsy Earley Hoglen

Patsy Hoglen, 88, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Haywood County, North Carolina. She was born in Haywood County, North Carolina, on December 7, 1936, to the late James and Bertha (Hamilton) Earley of Canton, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Mark Neal Hoglen of Waynesville, NC; brothers, Wiley “Bud” C. Early Sr., Melvin B. Earley; sisters; Shirley Rickman and Elsie Elders.

Patsy was a graduate of Pisgah High School, class of 1955, and then later graduated from Blanton’s Business College in 1956.

Pasty is survived by her daughter Kathy Hoglen; grandson, Chris Ferguson; granddaughter, Jennifer Ferguson; and three great-grandchildren,  Brandon-Lee Ferguson, David Ferguson, and Shelby Ferguson.

No service will be held per Mrs. Patsy’s request.

The care of Mrs. Hoglen has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton, NC.
