Paul Bell, Jr.

Waynesville-Paul Edgar Bell, Jr., age 62, died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

A native of Miami, Florida, he was the son of Mary Ellen Wiley Bell and the late Paul Edgar Bell, Sr. In 1963, he married Linda Kay Smith of Waynesville. He was 2nd Vice-President of Market Intelligence for Lincoln Retirement for 11 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member and Elder of Christ's Community Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Smith Bell; a son, Matt Bell of Avilla, Indiana; a daughter, Allison Bell of Lexington, Virginia; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at Christ's Community Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2003 at D. O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2003 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Waynesville, NC with Reverend Robert E. Fuquay, Jr. officiating.
