Paul 'Grassy' Wayne Cox, 76, formerly of Asheville, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. He was a son of the late Harley and Mary Ramsey Cox. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Dill Cox and eight brothers and sisters.

Mr. Cox was of the Baptist faith and a former preacher. He retired from Southern States, enjoyed fishing and loved his family greatly.

Survivors include his sons, Bobby Cox of Arden, Kevin Swann and wife Beverly of Penrose, four sisters, Betty Riddle, Louise Ponder, Rena Cantrell and Lonnie Ledbetter, five grandchildren and one great-grand son.

Funeral services will be held 2pm on Friday in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends in the chapel an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the park.
