Our loving mother, Lillian Pauline (Cutshall) Alexander passed away on September 29, 2012 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

She was born on February 26, 1922 in Greene County, Tennessee to U. C. and Edna Franklin Cutshall, was a 20 year resident of Wilkes County, NC, and spent her final years in Asheville, NC. She was predeceased by her loving husband, James Edgar Alexander, in 2003, her parents, and brothers Clarence, Kimbell, Manley and Winston.

She is survived by one sister, Evelyn C. Wood; sisters-in-law Glendora Cutshall, Viola Cutshall, and Ruth Ann Cutshall; her son: E. Clyde Alexander (Marie) of Hays, NC; three daughters: Mary A. Wise (Earl) of Candler, NC; Joyce A. Caldwell (Bob) of Asheville, NC; and Nancy E. Alexander of Asheville, NC and was Grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held for her at Moore Funeral Home who is caring for the family. Interment will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
