Pauline Galloway

August 20, 1921 — November 3, 2016

"1921 – 2016" Clyde – Pauline Killian Galloway, 95, passed away on November 3, 2016 at Autumn Care of Waynesville. A native of Cocke County, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Charles Vinson and Julia Louisa Large Killian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Galloway, who died in 1964; four brothers, Joe, Ben, Lamar, and J.D. Killian; and three sisters, Wilma Caughron, Opal Saunders, and Nell Haney. Pauline retired in 1983 from American Enka with 40 years of service and was a faithful member of Clyde Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Her two caregivers – nieces, Jean Queen (Keith), and Debby Knapik (Bill); and a special nephew, Dean Saunders from Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens, where she will be next to her mother, with the Reverend Zach Christy officiating. Her family expresses heartfelt thanks to Autumn Care staff and family for all their kindness and care. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
