Pauline Henson

Pauline Rice Henson, age 63, of 225 Mountain Grove Road died Friday, September 19, 2003.

She was a native of Cocke County, TN and had resided in Haywood County for 18 years. She was the daughter of Laura Tarlton Rice of Asheville and the late Arthur Rice. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Kay Fuller who died in 1987.

She was a graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School and retired from Thom's Rehabilitation Hospital in 1993. She attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of 18 years, James W. Henson of Canton, she is survived by a daughter, Sharon D. Fuller of Candler; a son Robert G. Fuller, Jr. of Leicester; three sisters, Betty Baldwin of Arden, Mildred Frady of Asheville and Beatrice Shipley of Morganton, NC; a brother Elmer Rice of Asheville and a granddaughter, Alexandra W. Fuller.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Heath Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
