Pauline Mccollum

Waynesville, Pauline S. McCollum, age 82, of Little Mountain Road, died on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Mission Hospital. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she had resided in Haywood County for the past 26 years. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Jeanette Bachikoff Greenberg and was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, F. Gregory McCollum, who died in March 2009. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Katz and her husband, Louis; one son, Fred Platman of Waynesville; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
